Welcome to my space Romeo Charlie

My name is Julio and I live in the city of São Paulo, southeast of Brazil.

I was born on January 16, 1972 and I work in Telecom and IT.

I've had radio DX as a hobby since 1989 and I'm still fascinated by the challenges and friendships gained since then. I am also a ham radio operator under the code PY2XV.

My working conditions are:
A wonderful GALAXY PLUTO and hand mic for the CB band (gift from my friend 3SD102 - Mr. Paulo);
YAESU FT-1000MP and Heil Proset Plus headset for DX and contest;
Antenna is a 7 elements with 3 bands (10/15/20) on a tower with a total of 15 meters above the ground
ICOM IC-2200 for SWL on the air band and FM repeaters and chatting with local friends with a 3x 5/8 vertical antenna.

Forgive me if I have any difficulty listening to you. Unfortunately, the place where I live has many buildings and houses with electrical interference (QRN / QRM) that make it difficult to understand slightly weaker signals.

I hope to find you active in 555 and other bands.
