Hello, my name is Gerardo.
55 yrs old born and raised in Texas married to my beautiful and wonderful wife Claudia, have 3 kids that i love very much. Live right on the border with northern Mexico. Been doing radio since 1994 was introduced to me by my brother-in-law. Started like most of us did a Cobra 19 just to speak to local friends, we got a group together called Group 12, due we always spoke on channel 12 am band, then i got interested in working dx around the globe so i got better equipment and been doing dx ever since. Have to say my first International 11-meter group was KP, then got information about the great RC group and joined the group back in 2008 then decided to leave in 2020 thought i would be joining a better dx group and was not what I expected so I left in 2023, have to say thank you to Stephane for accepting me again in the great RC Fam, this time is for good! Like to spend time with my Family fishing at a local State Park there is good bass and catfish, also love doing dx when not working or when just relaxing at home. Hope to meet soon on the airwaves best 73s.

Yaesu Ft 710 100watts, Gytzmotchy 4 element beam on a 50ft tower. Also work with other equipment on the the side Ts 950sdx, Icom 7600, Icom 7300, Yaesu ft 920, Yaesu ft 3000 those are my weapons for dxing.
